As with most Steel City clothing, especially the heavier cotton items, the fit is great. And the length of the large is good if you wear a normal fit, but want an extra inch at the waist.

I have purchased numerous items from SC. Most items fit well and have held up in terms of durability, sizing, and quality. I was careful to select Medium for this shirt, but after one wash, it shrunk a bit too much. I hesitated in ordering a Large because sometimes the neck sags. My ultimate decision criteria was based on the model's specs. I miscalculated this time. I'm not sure what recourse I have, but for someone who is in between sizes, I would advise sizing up to account for potential shrinkage.
