Nostalgia can be a trap, especially those of us who have some mileage. I’m Gen-X and I remember when hair metal went from exciting to embarrassing in a remarkably short period of time. Not everything needs to stay.
But, clothes. I remember t-shirts with some heft to them. Somewhere along the line we accepted the devil’s bargain of cheap. As a result, we got what we paid for. T-shirts made of what might as well be spider webs, that practically dissolved in the laundry.
The Bruiser is a good t-shirt. It feels substantial and has nice detailing in the stitching and the stripes. The color is great, too. Men need more color in their lives. Too often we stick with the drabbest of neutrals because god forbid we ever have something that brings a pop of joy in our lives.
Life’s short. Get yourself something fun that’s going to last longer than a sneeze.
