I love all the partnerships Steel City is involved with, and this shirt is another stellar example. The Mario Lemieux Foundation is a personal favorite, because (let’s be honest) we need all the resources in the world to cure cancer. When you buy this shirt, you are helping push closer to that cure.
Additionally, Mr. Lemieux’s personal triumphs are something we can all be inspired by. And the fact he decided not only to adopt Pittsburgh as a home, but to parlay his on-ice career to off-ice investment in the game and team he loves is something real and meaningful for our city, something for which we should be profoundly grateful.
I love the shirt. Size is exactly as it says it is. I get many compliments and order from here alot.
I love the quality and style of the tee shirt. It's different. I've got many compliments when I wear it.
We got these shirts because my father in law died of pancreatic cancer (and my husband's family is born and raised Pittsburgh) so this was special for us to help an organization beat cancer but still support my father in law because it just happened to be purple. The shirt is soft and washes well (doesn't come out feeling stiff and feels like we just bought it). My brother in law loved it so much I got one for him too...something tells me I might be getting more for our family members down the line whenever we start to think about my father-in-law. #pittsburghisstrongerthancancer
