Forbes Field was the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1909 to 1970. Because the infield dirt of the park was very hard it cause baseballs to bounce wildly, so much so that announcer Bob Prince nicknamed the park “The House of Thrills.”

Forbes Field is on an exceptionally soft, heathered gray t-shirt. This tee has a textured look that adds to its vintage charm.

Top Notch

Steel City shirts are so comfortable and I love being able to wear retro logos that spark great memories. Hope there is a Mike Lange tribute in the works 😊
